  12. When we release software, we are supposed to include the copyright
  13. both in the source code comments and in the executable. Well, I
  14. released some software written in Icon and I tried including the
  15. string, but when I ran "strings" over the executable it did not find
  16. it. I'm guessing that icont compresses the string literals. Is this
  17. true? Is there a way to avoid it?
